The present invention relates to a method for rearranging an O-arylthiocarbamate compound carrying at least one amino group into an S-arylthiocarbamate compound carrying at least one amino group, the method comprising: Heating an O-arylthiocarbamate compound carrying two amino groups and an electron withdrawing group. The resulting S-aryl thiocarbamate compound is used as an intermediate to produce an aromatic thiol or thioether. |
