titleOfInvention Process for preparing silicones containing arylalkyl functions by hydrosilylation
abstract (57) [Summary]nThe invention comprises: a hydrogenopolyorganosiloxane (reagent (SiH)) and a monovinyl aromatic compound (reagent (Vi)), a reagent (SiH) and a reagent (Vi), an inert solvent and a hydrosilylation catalyst. Hydrosilylation by simultaneous introduction into the reaction medium, which is followed by removal of the solvent, possible residual reagents (SiH) and (Vi) and / or hydrogenation to obtain a high-purity poly (arylalkyl) function. With respect to the method of preparing the organosiloxane, the hydrogenation process is optionally followed by a product exclusion process (or another exclusion process) different from the polyorganosiloxane having an arylalkyl function. The resulting silicone having an arylalkyl function can be used as a soothing agent and / or carrier in cosmetic compositions, or as a solubilizing agent and emollient in perfume compositions.
