(57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to natural, chromatographically purified α1-AT preparations having a purity of at least 0.7 PU / mg protein and a relative plasma α1-AT activity of at least 120%. The ratio of active α1-AT to inactive α1-AT is higher than in plasma. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of said preparation and to the use of a carrier material, for example an inorganic carrier material such as hydroxyapatite, for separating active α1-AT from inactive α1-AT. |
