abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a method of using an enzyme phytase in a diet low in phytate. The present invention discloses a method of feeding a diet low in phytate supplemented with phytase. Feeding an animal with a diet low in phytate, including phytase, improves the mineral status of the animal and improves animal husbandry results, such as growth rates and feed requirements. The present invention also discloses a feed for animals with low phytate supplemented with phytase and a method for producing this feed. |
