titleOfInvention | Methods, kits and compositions for detection complexes |
abstract | (57) Summary The present invention relates to methods, kits and compositions that utilize a detection complex for detecting or identifying the presence or absence or amount of a target molecule in a sample of interest. The detection complex comprises at least two component polymers and at least one set of donor and acceptor residues. The formation of the complex is such that each set of donor residues and acceptors is measured in a manner that produces a detectable signal change that is correlated to the presence or absence or amount of the target sequence and / or target molecule of interest in the sample. At least one residue of a set of donor and acceptor residues is attached to each of the at least two component polymers to facilitate energy transfer between the residues. |
