abstract | (57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to a catalyst system suitable for use in ethylene polymerization and copolymerization, and to provide an electron donating activator and optionally a metal halide modifier in a solvent system comprising a substantially organic epoxy compound and a (having) giraline compound. Dissolve in the solution to form a homogeneous solution, then mix with at least one coprecipitant and a transition metal titanium halide or derivative thereof to form a solid composition, and then form an organic compound prior to use in the polymerization. The present invention provides a method for preparing the catalyst system, which is incorporated in combination with an aluminum component to obtain a catalyst system. When used for ethylene polymerization, the catalyst system has very high polymerization activity and the resulting polymer particles have better morphology and higher apparent density. |
