titleOfInvention | Curable compositions containing epoxidized natural oils |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A curable composition containing an epoxidized natural oil is provided. SOLUTION: (a) A compound obtained by epoxidation of a natural unsaturated oil or a derivative thereof and containing at least one epoxy group at an internal site per molecule; (b) Glycidyl ether, glycidyl ester and cycloaliphatic epoxide An epoxy compound selected from the group consisting of: (c) a polycarboxylic anhydride; (d) a compound of the following formula I, II, III or IV: (Wherein R 1 to R 4 are each independently a hydrogen atom; unsubstituted or hydroxyl, amino, halogen, cyano, C 1-6 alkoxy or C 1-6 C 1 -C 18 alkyl substituted by one or more of 6 cyanoalkoxy groups; unsubstituted or C 1 -C 6 alkyl, C 1 -C 6 alkoxy An aryl group having 5 to 14 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group having 6 to 24 carbon atoms, a heteroaryl group having 3 to 14 carbon atoms or a carbon atom substituted by one or more than one group or halogen atom number 4 to represent hetero aralkyl group 14, n is an integer of 1 to 3, and R 5 and R 6 DE each other Represents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or represents a 5- or 6-membered ring together with a nitrogen atom) or a compound represented by the formula I, II, III or IV A composition comprising: an acid adduct of the compound; and (e) 20 to 90% by weight of the filler, based on the total composition, wherein the filler particles have an average diameter of 0.1 μm to 5.0 mm. The article can be cured to a product having a high T g and is particularly suitable as an encapsulant for electrical and electronic components. |
