abstract | (57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to novel HLF proteins that are members of the heregulin family. Specifically, an isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding a human HLF protein is provided. HLF polypeptides are also provided, as well as vectors, host cells and recombinant methods for producing them. The present invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of HLF activity. Also provided are diagnostic methods for detecting dysregulation of cell proliferation and therapeutic methods for treating dysregulation of cell proliferation. |
