(57) [Summary]nThe invention relates to aqueous lacquers. The aqueous lacquer is characterized in that it contains 5 to 95% by weight (based on the total binder content) of the binder component a) and 5 to 95% by weight (based on the total binder content) of the binder component b). The binder component a) is obtained by radical polymerization of an aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane resin and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the presence of a water-insoluble initiator. The binder component b) is obtained by polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in an organic solvent or a mixture of organic solvents in the presence of a polyurethane resin, and converting the thus obtained binder component b) into an aqueous dispersion.
