SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION To provide OLEDs and other semiconductor devices, a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device is provided that uses inkjet printing to directly deposit a patterned polymer film (136). The luminescence of polyvinylcarbazole (PVK) films containing dyes such as Coumarin 6 (C6), Coumarin 47 (C47) and Nile Red is similar to that of films of the same composition deposited by spin coating. Light emitting diodes with low turn-on voltage are also fabricated in C6 doped PVK deposited by inkjet printing. |
