abstract | (57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to a process for synthesizing β-oligosaccharides. Beta-oligosaccharides can be converted to liquid and solid phases via sulfoxide glycosylation using alkylsulfenyl- or arylsulfenyl-2-deoxy-2-N-trifluoroacetamidoglycopyranose as the glycosyl donor. Synthesized in both. Once activated under glycosylation conditions, these donors produce β-glycosides exclusively and in high yield. Since the trifluoroacetamide group is easily removed under mild conditions, the corresponding amino group can be appropriately derivatized even in the presence of an unprotected hydroxyl group. A disaccharide library is designed, constructed and analyzed. The present invention also relates to a process for synthesizing a glycosyl donor. |
