titleOfInvention Columnar titanium oxide crystal photocatalyst material and its application
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a photocatalytic material capable of obtaining a highly active photocatalytic function. SOLUTION: A sol solution of an organometallic compound or an inorganic compound is applied to a crystal nucleus 2 formed on a curved surface of a cylindrical substrate 1, solidified and heat treated to form a titanium oxide crystal 3 having a columnar crystal shape. The crystal was grown from the crystal nucleus 2. By setting the columnar substrate 1 on which the columnar crystals 3 are formed to have a radius of 50 μm or less, the columnar crystals 3 were formed at a high density, and high activation of the photocatalytic function was realized.
