abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide an activated carbon having a sufficient antibacterial activity in addition to a deodorizing and deodorizing effect. SOLUTION: Iodine is dissolved in an aqueous potassium iodide solution to prepare a treatment liquid having an iodine concentration of 10 to 70% by weight. When the activated carbon is immersed in this treatment liquid, the iodine-potassium iodine potassium electrolyte complex adheres to the surface and the pores of the activated carbon. This adhesion amount is 10-6 per activated carbon anhydrous weight. 0% by weight. When water comes into contact with the electrolyte complex, iodine is eluted, and the iodine exerts antibacterial properties. |
