(57) [Problem] To provide a method and an apparatus for monitoring non-invasive hemoglobin concentration and oxygen saturation. SOLUTION: Step 10 of selecting at least two wavelengths including at least two isobestic wavelengths from wavelengths belonging to a wavelength band whose extinction coefficient of water is lower than that of hemoglobin, and incident light having the selected wavelength.
