(57) [Summary] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To provide a non-aqueous secondary battery having a high discharge capacity and excellent impedance characteristics even when the amount of a conductive additive is reduced. A surface of a positive electrode active material is uniformly coated with a silane compound and a conductive additive, and the resultant is used for a positive electrode of a nonaqueous secondary battery. Examples of the silane compound include alkoxysilanes such as methyltriethoxysilane, methyltrimethoxysilane, dimethyldiethoxysilane, and tetraethoxysilane, and examples of the conductive assistant include carbon black. The coating amount of the silane compound on the positive electrode active material is preferably 0.01 to 5 parts by weight in terms of Si based on 100 parts by weight of the positive electrode active material. |
