abstract | [57] [Problem] To exhibit excellent low-temperature fixing property and high-temperature offset resistance from low speed to high speed even in a light pressure fixing system, and obtain stable and high image density and low fog with high durability. It is an object of the present invention to provide an image forming method which is excellent in cleaning characteristics of a photoreceptor and can obtain good image characteristics stably for a long time. In an image forming method for forming a fixed image on a recording material by heating and fixing a toner image on the recording material by heating and pressing means, the toner comprises at least a binder resin, a specific imidazolium salt, and coloring. The binder resin is a mixture of a vinyl resin having a carboxyl group and a vinyl resin having a glycidyl group, a vinyl resin having a carboxyl group and a glycidyl group, and a reaction between the carboxyl group and the glycidyl group. It contains one or more vinyl resins selected from the group consisting of vinyl resins, and is characterized in that heating and pressing means of an electromagnetic induction heating system is used as the heating and pressing means. |
