titleOfInvention Wax former
abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a wax former capable of obtaining a sufficient amount of absorbed wax. SOLUTION: An iron tip 7 having a shape corresponding to a use is selected from a plurality of iron tips having different shapes of tip portions provided with slits 8, and a mounting pattern 10 of the iron tip 7 is changed to a heater portion of an electric iron. After the absorber 11 is inserted into the hole 9 of the iron tip 7, the iron 11 is held by the iron tip 7, and the iron tip 7 is heated and held at a desired temperature by a heater. Then, the tip, back, abdomen and the like of the heated iron tip 7 are applied to the wax, and while the wax is melted, excess wax is sucked up into the slit 8 by capillary action, and is absorbed by the absorber 11 from the slit 8. Thereby, an original shape such as a tooth shape or a casting having a desired shape is formed.
