titleOfInvention | Hydrophobic substance adsorbent |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent which adsorbs a hydrophobic substance, particularly a hormone-like substance, a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon or a volatile organic compound, with high efficiency and easily desorbs. SOLUTION: It is composed of a crosslinked polymer obtained by copolymerizing a hydrophobic non-crosslinkable monomer (eg, methyl methacrylate, styrene) and a hydrophilic crosslinkable monomer (eg, nonaethylene glycol dimethacrylate). A hydrophobic substance adsorbent characterized by the following. |
