titleOfInvention | Hydrophobic substance adsorbent |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent which adsorbs a hydrophobic substance, particularly a hormone-like substance, a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon or a volatile organic compound, with high efficiency and easily desorbs. SOLUTION: A hydrophobic crosslinkable monomer (eg, triethylene glycol dimethacrylate, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, tetramethylol methane triacrylate, divinylbenzene) and a monomer having a hydrophilic group containing no nitrogen atom (eg, Nonaethylene glycol dimethacrylate, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, glycidyl methacrylate) and a crosslinked polymer obtained by copolymerizing the same with a hydrophobic substance adsorbent. |
