abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide an excrement treating agent which facilitates disposal of excrement by rapidly solidifying excrement of pets and effectively deodorizes an unpleasant odor of excrement. SOLUTION: Granules or fine particles of a composition comprising a smectite mineral powder containing particles having a particle size of 75 μm or less at 50% by weight or more and an aluminum salt powder containing particles having a particle size of 500 μm or less at 50% by weight or more. An excrement treating agent as a piece, wherein the amount of the aluminum salt content relative to the smectite mineral content in the composition is 0.01 to 0.1 by weight. |
