titleOfInvention Magnetic sensing element and method of manufacturing the same
abstract (57) [Problem] With a conventional CPP type magnetic detection element, it has not been possible to appropriately improve the reproduction output and the stability of the reproduction waveform as the element size is reduced. SOLUTION: Specular films 31 are formed on both side end surfaces of a multilayer film 30. The nonmagnetic intermediate layer 2 is provided on the surface of the free magnetic layer 26 opposite to the surface on which the nonmagnetic material layer 25 is formed. 7, a hard bias layer 29 is formed. As a result, it is possible to manufacture a magnetic detection element having a high reproduction output and a high sensitivity and having excellent reproduction waveform stability.
