Polyester fiber bonding treatment method and fiber reinforced rubber composite |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesion treatment method for obtaining a polyester fiber having a uniform adhesion state of an adhesive and particularly having improved adhesion to a rubber matrix as a reinforcing fiber for a hose. When a polyester fiber is treated with a resorcinol-formalin rubber latex (RFL) adhesive containing a special chlorophenol compound, the special chlorophenol compound is a compound obtained by co-condensing parachlorophenol and resorcinol with formaldehyde. Yes, The polynuclear condensate of eight or more nuclei accounts for 60% by weight or more of the compound weight, and the viscosity of a 20% by weight aqueous solution of the compound is 3%. It is not less than mPa · s and not more than 20 mPa · s. Further, the fiber-reinforced rubber composite is characterized by comprising a polyester fiber and rubber treated by the above-mentioned bonding treatment method, and further preferably, the rubber is an ethylene propylene rubber. |
