titleOfInvention Wastewater disinfection method and apparatus
abstract (57) [Summary] The present invention seeks an appropriate amount of a disinfectant that exerts an appropriate disinfecting effect and does not generate residual halogen according to fluctuations in the quality of wastewater, and disinfects the minimum necessary amount. It is an object of the present invention to provide a disinfection method and apparatus for adding an agent to a liquid to be treated. SOLUTION: The method according to the present invention is a method of disinfecting a liquid to be treated with a halogen-based disinfectant, and detecting the degree of decrease in the effective halogen concentration after the addition of the halogen-based disinfectant to detect the amount of the halogen-based disinfectant. It is characterized in that the amount of addition is controlled.
