titleOfInvention Artificial skull model and manufacturing method thereof
abstract (57) [Problem] To disclose a method and a model in which a degree of freedom in resection of a skull can be completely secured at the time of surgery, and a model almost matching the resected part can be obtained in a short time. SOLUTION: An impression of a surface of a skull to be resected is collected with a hardening type impression material to form an outer shape, and thereafter, a soft impression material is laid and pressed on a portion where the skull has been cut, using the outer shape as a tray. After creating the main mold and laying the upper mold to such an extent that an impression of at least a side surface of the main mold can be taken, the main mold is released, and the ceramic powder mud is replaced in this space and frozen. An artificial skull model for taking out a model and firing it, and a method for manufacturing the same. A step of attaching a calcium phosphate powder to at least the side surface of the frozen model is further added. When replacing the ceramic powder mud, a metal reinforcing material is buried in the ceramic powder mud, and then the ceramic powder mud is frozen.
