Provided is a glass filter for preventing glass breakage having a large glass break prevention effect, and a plasma display device provided with the filter. An anti-reflection film 12 is laminated on one side 11a of the glass break prevention layer 11 below, and the other side 11b is used as an adhesive surface to constitute a glass break prevention film-like filter 1. The film filter 1 is directly mounted on the viewing side of the plasma display panel 21 via the adhesive surface of the glass break prevention layer 11 to constitute the plasma display device 2.
