titleOfInvention | Lithographic printing plate and plate making method |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a lithographic printing original plate and a method of making a lithographic printing plate with improved sensitivity. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive recording layer containing a polymer compound which changes from lipophilic to hydrophilic by heating and a hydrophilic layer are provided in this order on a support, and the polymer compound is converted into a sulfone by heating. It is preferable that the lithographic printing plate has a functional group capable of generating an acid, that the heat-sensitive recording layer further contains a light-to-heat conversion substance, and that the lithographic printing plate precursor is imagewise heated, and that the lithographic printing plate precursor is imagewise heated Is treated with a hydrophilic liquid to dissolve or disperse and remove the portion of the heat-sensitive recording layer of the heating portion that has changed from lipophilic to hydrophilic, and to reduce the adhesion of the heat-sensitive recording layer to the hydrophilic layer of the heating portion. A lithographic printing plate can be made by a method characterized by including a developing step of removing the lithographic printing plate. |
