abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a modified bioactive protein having a long residence time in blood. A modified bioactive protein to which dextran sulfate is bound by reacting the bioactive protein with dextran sulfate under alkaline conditions. It is desirable to use dextran sulfate sodium sulfur 5 as dextran sulfate. As bioactive proteins, cytokines such as erythropoietin and tumor cell-damaging factor are used. [Effect] The residence time of the physiologically active protein in blood can be extended.
