abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving light resistance when zinc pyrithione is used as an antibacterial and antifungal agent for kneading thermoplastics, and for adding it to a vinyl chloride resin. SOLUTION: When zinc pyrithione is added to a thermoplastic plastic, light resistance is improved by using hydrotalcite in combination, and addition to a vinyl chloride resin becomes possible.
