titleOfInvention | Electrophotographic photoreceptor, electrophotographic cartridge and image forming apparatus using the same |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A belt-shaped electrophotographic photosensitive member that achieves long life, high reliability, and high image quality at a high level, and an electrophotographic cartridge and an image forming apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic apparatus in which the surface of a belt-shaped electrophotographic photosensitive member is pressed down, refracted to the opposite side, and rotated by following the photosensitive member, the contact member rotates idle without interlocking with the photosensitive member. This is considered to be a cause of an increase in the thickness reduction. Therefore, if the friction coefficient of the surface of the photoconductor is made smaller than the friction coefficient of the contact member that refracts the photoconductor in the opposite direction, idling of the contact member is reduced, and the photoconductor can be rotated in conjunction with the photoconductor. The wear resistance can be further improved by increasing the hardness of the surface of the photoreceptor to a pencil hardness of HB or more, preferably 2H or more. |
