abstract |
(57) Abstract: while to methane can efficiently purify the low temperature range, emissions of the NO x is also to be reduced. A place NO x storage-and-reduction type catalyst on the upstream side of the exhaust gas flow and arranged methane oxidation catalyst downstream thereof. Since the exhaust gas flowing into the methane oxidation catalyst does not contain NO x and SO x, it is improved oxidation efficiency of methane. During rich atmosphere also reaction between methane and NO x occurs at the methane oxidation catalyst. |
