(57) [Problem] To provide a permanent image by aqueous inkjet ink printing. The invention relates to making a permanent inkjet image using a fusible wettable toner and an inkjet ink, comprising: (a) inkjet printing an ink containing a colorant on a substrate; and (b) according to (a). The method comprises exposing the substrate to a transparent toner containing a fusible hydrophilic polymer. Further, the present invention relates to an image on a substrate containing an independent group of ink-jet inks and an electrostatic toner containing a fusible hydrophilic polymer, and an independent group of ink-jet inks and an independent group of ink-free toners. The image is fixed on the substrate. |
