titleOfInvention Temperature-sensitive hue reversible composition
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a temperature-sensitive hue reversible composition which exhibits a reversible hue change in which the color develops when the temperature rises and disappears when the temperature falls. SOLUTION: It comprises three components of a color former comprising a reversible dye which develops with an acid, a developer comprising a Lewis acid having a melting point in a temperature range of a desired hue change, and a sensitizer, A temperature-sensitive hue reversible composition is provided which develops color when heated and loses color when cooled, showing a reversible hue change. Examples of suitable color formers include leuco dyes, examples of suitable color developers include long-chain carboxylic acids, and examples of suitable sensitizers include acid amides.
