abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] An installation method that reduces various burdens such as creation, evaluation, and management on a provider side of an installed program and prevents a problem that may occur during installation on a user side, An installation system, a processing device, a computer program, and a recording medium are provided. SOLUTION: An environment file in which a processing environment such as an OS of a processing apparatus to be an installation destination and an installed program corresponding to the processing environment are provided separately from an installer, and a processing environment of the processing apparatus is detected. The installed program to be installed from one or a plurality of installed programs different for each processing environment, and installs the determined installed program using a common installer.
