titleOfInvention | Image forming method and image forming apparatus |
abstract | (57) Abstract: The present invention provides an image forming method which can maintain a good cleaning performance for a long period of time even when an organic photoreceptor is used, and can form a good electrophotographic image without image defects. An object of the present invention is to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The cleaning blade is in contact with the sheet metal member on the surface opposite to the surface in contact with the organic photoreceptor, and the free length a of the cleaning blade and the free length b of the sheet metal member satisfy the relationship of Formula 1. An image forming method, wherein the toner used in the developer is a toner obtained by adding fine particles having a number average primary particle diameter of 5 to 49 nm and fine particles of 50 to 200 nm to colored particles. Formula 1 0.1 <b / a ≦ 0.9 |
