titleOfInvention | One-pot synthesis of 2-oxazolidinone derivatives |
abstract | (57) Abstract: The compound of formula (I) is a 5HT 1 -like receptor agonist useful for treating and preventing migraine. Formula (I) A new process for preparing the compound of formula (I) has been discovered. This process is described in WO 91/18897 and PCT / GB95 For the process disclosed in US Pat. No./00142, the final product can be produced in large scale and in pure form in high yield by using a one-pot procedure, thus saving time and costly intermediate isolation. It has the advantage of avoiding the need. The new process also avoids the need for hazardous reagents such as phosgene and environmentally hazardous reagents such as tin chloride. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to (S) -4-{[3- [2- (Dimethylamino) ethyl] -1H-indole-5 Provided is an improved process for the preparation of 5HT 1 -like receptor agonists having a substituted indole ring structure other than [yl] methyl} -2-oxazolidinone. |
