titleOfInvention Apoptosis inducer
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a novel safe apoptosis-inducing agent derived from evening primrose, and a food, beverage, and medicine containing the same. SOLUTION: The apoptosis-inducing agent of the present invention is characterized by using an extract of whole evening primrose, especially seeds, as an active ingredient. The evening primrose seeds may be defatted evening primrose seeds. The extraction solvent of the extract is ethanol concentration 70-85. % (V / v) ethanol / water. The apoptosis-inducing agent of the present invention is characterized by using gallic acid, ellagic acid, or pentagalloylglucose as an active ingredient. The food or drink of the present invention is characterized by containing the apoptosis inducer. The drug of the present invention is characterized by comprising the apoptosis-inducing agent.
