abstract |
The present invention provides a method for measuring poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) activity, and a method for identifying a modulator of PARP activity. These methods use immobilized PARP as P Contacting the NAD under conditions where ARP self-ribosylation occurs, contacting the self-ribosylated PARP with a detection marker to form a complex, and self-ribosylated PAR indicative of PARP activity. Measuring the amount of the detection marker bound to P indirectly or directly. |
