abstract (57) [Summary] An object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a printed circuit board on which a flash memory with good usability is mounted. A CPU is a central processing unit, and FMRY is an electrically erasable / writable nonvolatile flash memory. A resin-sealed microcomputer having a first operation mode in which rewriting of the flash memory (FMRY) is controlled by a built-in central processing unit (CPU) and a second operation mode in which an external PROM writer is controlled is prepared. A program is written in the flash memory (FMRY) in the two operation mode, the microcomputer on which the writing is performed is mounted on a printed circuit board, and after mounting, the program held in the flash memory (FMRY) is rewritten in the first operation mode.
