abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a novel latex immunoturbidimetric assay method and a kit used therefor. SOLUTION: A sample containing an antigen to be measured is mixed with thioglycolic acid or a salt thereof or thioglycerol, and then the antigen in the sample is reacted with latex particles sensitized with an antibody against the antigen. The antigen in the sample can be specifically measured without being affected by the rheumatoid factor or the like in the sample. Also, thioglycolic acid or a salt thereof or thioglycerol, A measurement kit comprising latex particles sensitized with an antibody to the antigen to be measured has excellent storage stability.
