titleOfInvention Method for manufacturing nickel-hydrogen secondary battery
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing a nickel-hydrogen secondary battery having high capacity, excellent overdischarge characteristics, and long life. SOLUTION: A battery can accommodates an electrode group including a positive electrode mainly composed of a positive electrode active material having a higher order cobalt oxide on the surface of nickel hydroxide, a negative electrode and a separator, and injecting an alkaline electrolyte. After sealing the battery can, short-circuiting or reverse charging is performed prior to activation by charging.
