abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To smoothly reproduce a large-capacity optical disk (M) in which a plurality of system streams each configured by interleaving moving image data and audio data are recorded. SOLUTION: When a certain system stream (VOB) and another system stream are continuously reproduced, information indicating smooth reproduction is recorded on an optical disk (M) so that smooth reproduction can be performed at a joint of the system streams. Further, a reproduction method and apparatus (DCD) for performing smooth reproduction using the information are provided.
