abstract |
(57) [Problem] To reduce the emission of NOx and particulates contained in exhaust gas and prevent the emission of HC generated by injection of a hydrocarbon-based liquid into the atmosphere. SOLUTION: A NOx storage reduction catalyst 24 carrying a NOx absorbent and an active metal is provided in an exhaust pipe 16 of an engine 11, and a liquid injection nozzle 29 capable of injecting a hydrocarbon liquid 32 toward the NOx storage reduction catalyst. Is provided in the exhaust pipe on the exhaust gas upstream side of the NOx storage reduction catalyst. The liquid injection nozzle is provided with a hydrocarbon-based liquid supply means 36 for supplying a liquid via a liquid regulating valve 34, and an exhaust pipe downstream of the NOx storage reduction catalyst on the exhaust gas side carries an active metal functioning as an oxidation catalyst. Particulate filter 26 Is provided. NOx storage reduction catalyst is platinum-barium- It is an alumina catalyst, and a particulate filter is coated with either a platinum-zeolite catalyst or a platinum-ceria-zeolite catalyst. |
