abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a thermosensitive recording medium excellent in recording image quality and background fog resistance. SOLUTION: In a thermosensitive recording medium having a thermosensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a color former on a support, as one means for solving the above-mentioned problems, an average particle diameter (by a laser diffraction method, (Median value) 1,3,5-tris (4-tert-butyl-3-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylbenzyl) isocyanuric acid in a heat-sensitive recording layer using a leuco dye and a colorant of 0.6 μm or less. Is contained in an amount of 3 to 30% by weight based on the total solid content in the heat-sensitive recording layer. |
