titleOfInvention Method for removing ferrous iron contained in water to be treated and chemicals used for it
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing iron as insoluble iron with a reduced amount of sludge without making the water to be treated containing divalent iron alkaline, and a chemical used therefor. SOLUTION: In the water to be treated, iron (II) contained in the water to be treated is reacted with an oxidizing agent in the presence of carbonate ions under conditions of pH 3 to 8 to insolubilize the iron (II). A method for removing ferrous iron contained.
