(57) Abstract: it can be produced safely and relatively inexpensively provides a photocatalyst composite of highly active fiber aggregate forms such as woven fabrics. SOLUTION: A mixed gas containing titanium tetrachloride purified by distillation is brought into contact with an aggregate of glass fibers (eg, glass cloth) and then fired, and the glass fibers are coated with a titanium oxide thin film by a vapor deposition method. Then, the surface of the individual glass fibers are coated with a continuous film with no titanium oxide or the like peeling and cracking and falling, the photocatalyst composite is obtained having a high photocatalytic activity. |
