titleOfInvention | Image forming method and image forming apparatus |
abstract | (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming a good electrophotographic image without image defects while maintaining good cleaning performance over a long period even when an organic photoreceptor is used. A method and an image forming apparatus are provided. An organic photoreceptor has an organic polymer component, a siloxane component, and a charge transporting component, and has, as a surface layer, a resin layer having a fluorine atom in any of the components. Having a blade and an elastic member, the cleaning blade is in close contact with the elastic member on a surface opposite to a surface that contacts the organic photoreceptor, Free length a of cleaning blade and free length b of elastic member 1 is an image forming method characterized by satisfying Expression 1.
