SOLUTION: A water-soluble polymer compound (A) having a glucose unit in a molecule, and an anion obtained by polymerizing a carboxyl group-containing unsaturated monomer (a) and a hydrophobic unsaturated monomer (b). An aqueous emulsion obtained by emulsion-polymerizing a hydrophobic unsaturated monomer (C) in the presence of a hydrophilic copolymer (B) and a method for producing the same. |
