PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass for a copier top plate having a uniform zirconia film formed thereon and having excellent mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, and a method for producing the same. A glass for a copier top plate and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The copier top plate glass of the present invention is a copier top plate glass having a zirconia film on the surface of a copier top plate glass substrate, wherein the thin film contains a zirconium compound, an aminopolycarboxylic acid, an amine and a solvent. It is manufactured from the zirconia film forming precursor composition contained. |
