titleOfInvention | Electrolytic cell and method for producing organic compound and inorganic compound |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively easily configure an electrolytic cell as compared with a divided cell, which enables a target production of a compound having a high yield, a high selectivity and a high space-time yield. . SOLUTION: An electrolysis cell comprising two monopolar electrodes and one or more bipolar electrodes interposed therebetween has one monopolar electrode and a part of the bipolar electrode charged in the same direction as the monopolar electrode. Forming a counter electrode together with the other monopolar electrode and a part of the bipolar electrode charged in the same direction as the other monopolar electrode, and the space between the counter electrode and the working electrode is divided. The surface of the counter electrode is composed of an electrochemically active portion and an inactive portion, and the sum of the electrochemically active portions on the surface of the counter electrode is the sum of the electrochemically active portions on the surface of the working electrode. Several times smaller than the sum of |
