I do. A catalyst component for addition polymerization comprising an amino ether compound represented by the general formula (I). A solid catalyst component containing a magnesium atom, a titanium atom, a halogen atom and an electron donating compound, an organoaluminum compound, and an addition polymerization catalyst obtained by contacting the addition polymerization catalyst component. A method for producing an addition polymer using the addition polymerization catalyst.
